Acceleraid is an “AI Champion 2021”: The Mannheim-based software as a service provider was one of nine award winners honored by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism as an outstanding example of “AI made in BW”. The prize was awarded for a software solution for personalized targeting in digital sales that makes Artificial Intelligence available to everyone. Acceleraid thus convinced the expert jury led by Economics Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, who announced the award today at a virtual awards ceremony.

“Artificial Intelligence is a key technology for the future that can only unleash its full power when used consistently in the daily working environment. For this, we are taking it out of the research labs and making it available to a broad user base,” says Michael Altendorf, co-founder and CEO of Acceleraid. “Small and midsize companies in particular are benefiting from our personalization software, as they can now address their customers individually on all digital channels for the first time – fully automated and without much effort. We are particularly pleased that this approach has been honored by the jury and the state of Baden-Württemberg.”

Awarded: Personalized targeting for digital sales

Acceleraid’s AI solution allows visitors to websites, product pages and landing pages to be addressed in an automated, target group and customer-specific manner. All content, design and offers can be automatically tailored to the respective visitors. The individually optimized approach is based on the AI-supported evaluation of all visit, customer and context data. Acceleraid’s software determines who is visiting a website, what the underlying needs are, and displays an optimized version of the website. The result is more sales, better conversions, additional profits, a reduction in the churn rate and exploitation of cross-selling and up-selling potential.

What’s special: Due to the high degree of prefabrication of the software, it can be operated without any programming knowledge. This means that sales and marketing professionals without a technical background can configure Neural Networks and launch their own campaigns with just a few clicks. Acceleraid thus makes the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence available to a larger circle of users for the first time.

The competition: AI Champions BW

For the second time, research institutions and companies from Baden-Württemberg are being honored for outstanding solutions in the field of AI. The competition was launched in 2020 as a measure of the “Action Program AI for SMEs” of the Baden-Württemberg state government. The aim is to increase the visibility of “AI made in BW” both nationally and internationally, to drive forward the application of Artificial Intelligence in the SME sector and, in particular, to comprehensively familiarize small and medium-sized enterprises with the possibilities of AI.
